A Peaceful Day

With work just around the corner (tomorrow) for dad, The day is setting out to be nice and relaxing for the family. The girls are trying to catch up on a few zzz's while Jacob rocks away in his swing and dad is working a tad from home to make up for an extra day that was taken because of the day we were sent home last week.

It was a peaceful night, or as much as it can be with a 5-day old. Now that Jacob is beginning to come out of his "newborn funk" a bit, we are thinking that we may need to be working on watching / flipping his days and nights or at least be aware of the potential need.
Mom is definitely stealing a few moments for a few extra zzz's while Jacob doesn't seem to mind. Although, it may be somewhat short lived as dad will probably intervene so we can be sure to get Jacob the nutrients he needs.

So today should be a peaceful and relaxing day. The sun is shining while it is getting warmer, especially for an October day in Michigan... Did I just type that? Ocotober? ...and it is supposed to be 80 degerees? We may actually get out and enjoy a quick walk to the corner or something to enjoy the fresh air, but only time will tell with what the days events will have for us as we take life an hour at a time these days...
