Cruisin' The Metro Area

Amy asked if Icould please take Jacob for the afternoon on Friday since I was getting off early for the rest of the year. Doug obliged so that she could have a break and pamper herself a bit.
I got home a little after 1:30, loaded up Jacob and all of his peripherals and we were off ourselves. Amy was right behind us out of the driveway and was off to the mall for some expected pampering.
Amy was able to get a manicure, but not to her liking. Not sure if it was the language barrier ;)! or if the woman was just plain stupid, but Amy's nails do look nice, just way too short even if you have a new child... So, Amy's trip wasn't as relaxing and pampering as she would have liked, but she was able to stroll through the mall free as a bird, people watching while eating her hot pretzel.
Meanwhile, Jacob and I were cruisin' the area. Sorry, can't tell you where yet because Christmas is just around the corner. I can tell you that strollers are smaller than carts to get around, but still not as small as not having anything... We had to eat once while we were out, but Jacob was his laid back self and enjoyed being out with dad. I'm sure it was a switch for him considering that his mom had him out shopping just about every day for the past few weeks.
Will blog when we can, but we won't be home much the next week or so...
