Memorial Weekend - Part III

The local Memorial Day Parade either isn't what remember because it was Jacob's first parade or it got a little boring this year. It seemed that it was just the local school bands and scout troops. Not that this is bad of course, but it seemed like it was more entertaining last year. It was an early 9:00 am start, which didn't bother us since we were up early and ready to go anyway. It could just be that we have been spoiled by the Holiday Parades with floats and more candy, etc. being thrown. This trip was met with political flyers and local menus. We still enjoyed ourselves being outside and getting the blood flowing. The remainder of the day, however, slowed the blood flow as some of us took a nap while some one else went out and got some grocery. A much needed day of relaxation for the most part...
